It has been a great year and we've learned a lot. I remember the first few meetings were spent talking about the legal complications of sharing ideas. That topic even got us full page article in Ottawa Business Journal! Notice that we don't have those kinds of conversations anymore? We've also learned that having an idea is only the beginning and that the really hard part is getting a team to work on the same idea. We've discovered that it's not the idea that matters but the people: if you don't have passionate, talented people on your team you won't get off the ground. We've now overcome that challenge with at least one project (twegather.com), having launched yesterday. It's great to have you on the team.
